25 year warranty on our products

Extent The warranty covers Nordmount's products sold after January 1, 2023. When combining components, fasteners and screws from different manufacturers, Nordmount's warranties expire. The warranty covers a fixed assembly. Nordmount has the right to inspect the installation on site and investigate any warranty claims before they are approved. Damaged products will be replaced with new material delivered free of charge to the assembly site. Nordmount also has the right to carry out the replacement work with its own or hired personnel. Nordmount's products are provided with a surface layer on the sheet metal parts. These are covered by the guarantees under normal conditions and with prescribed maintenance, however with the exception of lacquered surface treatment and plastic parts.Material and function Nordmount guarantees both material and function for all standard products under normal conditions and with regular maintenance according to prescribed procedures. With the exception of plastic parts.Conditions For the warranty to be valid, the owner of the material must be able to prove the purchase from Nordmount by means of a delivery note or invoice.Normal environment A normal environment is defined as corrosivity class C4, which means significant amounts of air pollution or a moderate amount of salt in industrial or coastal areas. Nordmount guarantees that the warranty is valid provided that the owner of the material follows the prescribed routines for maintenance. The plate must not be stored or used in contact with or near moist and corrosive materials. The plate must not be exposed to contact with copper or liquid outflow from copper pipes.Installation requirements The installation must be carried out according to Nordmount's applicable installation instructions at the time of installation. The installation must be dimensioned according to the information received regarding snow and wind load for the installation site. Metal shavings that arise during cutting must be removed immediately.Regular supervision In accordance with the Plan and Building Act (PBL) and the Act on technical property requirements for construction works, regular inspection of products with essential property requirements is required. Nordmount always recommends an annual inspection of the products. The purpose of supervision is to detect errors and/or deficiencies and to remedy these before they worsen.

Terms for the Nordmount Planner configuratorBefore starting construction and installation of the solar cell system, it is important to read the following information carefully.The information regarding the design of the solar cell system is generated using the calculation tool available on Nordmount AB's website, www.nordmount.com ("Nordmount Planner"). The responsibility for correct application of the configurator's results rests with the user of the tool and/or the installer, or other person responsible for the installation of the solar cell system. The result can be affected by various variables and factors, which makes it important to consider the following points.The installation of a solar cell system on an existing building can affect the existing building loads, for example as a result of snow and wind or the building construction. To avoid personal injury and/or property damage, the installer or responsible person should ensure that the static calculations for the existing building are reviewed and confirmed by a qualified technician before installation begins.It is of utmost importance to comply with all applicable regulations, including but not limited to SIS-HB 537, Eurocode, wind simulations and relevant national annexes. Failure to confirm the necessary information or comply with these regulations may result in the building's roof supporting structure not being able to withstand the load.Furthermore, the installer or responsible person should consider, confirm or check the following design elements:Changes due to the additional weight of the complete solar cell system on the building.Changes resulting from the changed geometry of the building's roof.Changes due to dynamic wind pressure and possible accumulation of rain or other precipitation on the building.Loads that occur during installation on the building, roofing material and insulation.The compatibility of the insulation and the roof material at the contact points of the long-term PV system support structure, taking into account pressure points.The compatibility of the roofing material in combination with the support structure at the contact points.The effect of the thermal performance of the building on the PV system and vice versa.The effect of any movement and vibration of the roof on the PV system and vice versa.The installer should also confirm the compatibility of third party products, components or materials, including solar panels, used with Nordmount products. NM Flow, our low-slope system, can be anchored using ballast, welding, a combination of both, or directly to concrete with concrete screws. The system is installed directly on the roof surface, where the construction gives the panels a ten-degree tilt, distributes loads linearly, and protects both the roof and its waterproofing layer. Yes. Flow can be installed directly on the ground without the need for ground anchors or other fixations. The system can also be installed on hard surfaces such as asphalt. Please contact us for snow and wind load calculations prior to installation.

No. Flow is compatible with most solar panels on the market, but panel width is a limiting factor. The panel must have a width within the ranges 984–1040 mm or 1118–1174 mm.

Yes. Flow meets the requirements set out in roofing membrane warranty guidelines and can be installed across the roof slope. However, installation along the roof slope is recommended for optimal water drainage.

Yes. String cables can be routed along the rails and, if required, secured using cable ties in the system’s hole patterns.

We design our systems with a deliberately low number of components, allowing the same parts to be used across multiple solutions. This reduces material use, simplifies transport and handling, and enables streamlined logistics with fewer parts to store and distribute.
